The National Electrical Code Stakeholder Meeting will be held Wednesday, September 10 from 8:30am - 5pm and Thursday September 11 from 8:30am - 4:00pm at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. Please click Register to register for the meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed changes and develop consensus recommendations for changes to the 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC) that relate to photovoltaic installations. At the previous meeting in April, 8 Task Groups were created to work on different issues in the code. The Task Groups will report their recommended language at this meeting.
If you are not a U.S. Citizen you must register at least three weeks before the meeting to complete extra security requirements.

The Solar America Board for Codes and Standards (Solar ABCs) is a collaborative effort among experts to formally gather and prioritize input from the broad spectrum of solar photovoltaic stakeholders including policy makers, manufacturers, installers, and consumers resulting in coordinated recommendations to codes and standards making bodies for existing and new solar technologies.
